The Cuba Libre



This cocktail means ''Free Cuba'' and was popularized around the end of the Spanish American war.It is a easy drink to remember.

Ingredients For The Cuba Libre

  • Lime
  • Light rum
  • Cola
Quantities For One Drink

  • 1/2 oz lime
  • 2 oz light rum
  • 4 oz cola
Preparation

  • Squeeze the juice of a half lime in a Collins glass
  • Drop the lime in the glass
  • Add ice cubes
  • Pour the remaining ingredients in the glass
  • Stir well
  • Serve
