The Kir


If you like berry flavour cocktails this is just the one for you.The Kir became popular in the french cafes since the middle of the 19th century and it was also popularized after the ww2.There are a lot of variations in this wine cocktail.

Ingredients For The Kir

  • Creme de cassis(A sweet,low-proof liqueur made from French blackcurrants)
  • Dry white wine
Quantities For One Drink

  • 1/4 oz creme de cassis
  • 2 1/4 dry white wine
Preparation

  • Pour the creme de casis in a wine glass
  • Slowly add dry white wine
  • Serve
