This drink was invented in the 1930's.Charles Dana Gibson is mainly responsible for this drink.There are many stories regarding this drink.

Ingredients For Gibson

• Gin
• Dry vermouth
• Cocktail onions or a lemon or lime for garnish

Quantities For One Drink

• 2 1/2 oz gin
• 1/2 oz dry vermouth

Preparation

• Pour all ingredients in a mixing glass filled with ice cubes
• Stir well
• Strain into a cocktail glass
• Garnish (cocktail onion is most preferable)
• Serve
