The Bacardi Cocktail



This is a great classic cocktail that is a great example of marketing.In 1936 New York Supreme Court ruled that an authentic Bacardi Cocktail had to be made with Bacardi rum.

Ingredients For The Bacardi Cocktail

  • Bacardi light rum
  • Lemon or lime juice
  • Grenadine
Quantities For One Drink

  • 1 3/4 oz Bacardi light rum
  • 3/4 oz lemon or lime juice
  • 1/4 oz grenadine
Preparation

  • Pour all the ingredients in a cocktail shaker filled with ice cubes
  • Shake well
  • Strain into a cocktail glass
Serving Glass

Bacadi is yummy, and refreshing too. I like the image you have here, as that lemon reflects the freshness of the cocktail, and the cherry (I love glace cherries)reflects the sweetness.
